OTHER NOTARIAL ACTS
Notaries perform the following notarial acts:
certify transactions (contracts, wills, powers of attorney, etc.)
take measures to protect inherited property;
issue certificates of inheritance;
issue certificates of ownership of a share in the marital property in the event of the death of one of the spouses;
issue certificates of acquisition of property at public bidding (auctions);
issue certificates of acquisition of property at public bidding (auctions) if public bidding (auctions) did not take place;
carry out an inventory of the property of an individual who is declared missing or whose whereabouts are unknown;
issue duplicates of notarial documents kept in the notary's files;
impose a ban on the alienation of immovable property (property rights to immovable property) subject to state registration;
certify the authenticity of copies (photocopies) of documents and extracts therefrom;
certify the authenticity of signatures on documents;
certify the accuracy of translation of documents from one language into another;
certify the fact that an individual or legal entity is the executor of a will;
certify the fact that an individual is alive;
certify the fact that an individual is in a certain place;
certify the time of presentation of documents;
pass applications of individuals and legal entities to other individuals and legal entities;
accept money and securities for deposit;
execute executive inscriptions;
protest bills of exchange;
make maritime protests;
accept documents for safekeeping.
Notaries may be entrusted with performing other notarial acts in accordance with the law.
The texts of contracts, wills, powers of attorney, certificates, acts of maritime protests and protests of bills of exchange, translations in case of certification by a notary of the accuracy of translation of a document from one language into another, applications on which a notary certifies the authenticity of a signature, except for those copies that remain in the notary's files, as well as duplicates of notarial documents, shall be drawn up on special forms of notarial documents.
